Georgi is a twenty-one year old photographer, art lover and writer with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History & History from The University of Auckland (2011). She is currently based in Auckland, New Zealand. 

Georgi has a passion for photographing fashion and editorial work, portraits, events, landscape, architecture, and fine art work. She is also interested in art writing and art gallery work, fashion and design, and art in the community. 

Georgi has experience photographing at events including New Zealand Fashion Week and the Auckland Festival of Photography. 
In 2012 one of her images was chosen as the ‘Hero Image’ in New Zealand Fashion Week 2012 advertising and can be seen on their website and linked sponsor sites.

In 2011 she was selected as a finalist in the New Zealand Fashion Week/AList/Canon Photography Competition and photographed the week’s runway and social events on behalf of NZFW and other clients.

Georgi's work has received several awards including the ‘Top 30’ in the 2010 Auckland Festival of Photography Auckland Photo Day competition. During her secondary studies at Rangitoto College she received Academic Excellence in Year 13 Photography, NCEA Level 4 (Scholarship) Award in Photography, the PhotoLife Graphic Arts Award, and was a finalist in the North Shore Secondary Schools Art Competition (2008).

Georgi's work draws upon her studies in modern painting, sculpture and architecture as she pursues compositions of beauty, capturing moments that evoke emotion and desire, seeking truth and innovation, and a commercial edge.
